Sharon Louise Cain, 74 of Clarksburg passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Sardis, WV on October 18, 1949, the daughter of the late Carl Richard “Dick” Emerson Earnest and Ina Mae Powers Earnest.
Sharon worked for Eagle Convex Glass Factory as a Glass Cutter and Painter for over 20 years until her retirement. After retirement, she was a caregiver to two amazing women, Genevieve Marple and Mona Morgan that she loved dearly. Sharon was a member of the Little Rock Camp Church and was a firm believer in God. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, the almanac, flowers, feeding and watching the birds. She loved her two Pomeranians and Cat: Henry, G-Wiz, and Hissy.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline (Tommy) Fornash of Clarksburg; grandchildren, Tesse (John) Terneus of Morgantown, Tia (Jason) Terrell of NC, Toni Siebert of Clarksburg, Elijah (Fahryn) Millsap of NC, Tommy Fornash and companion Tori Downey of Fairmont, and Jennifer (Matt) Crissman of PA; great grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan, Ethan, Addyson, Jaxson, Kinsley, Emery, Ashton, Elizabeth, and Myla; one sister, Donna (Jim) Dennison; three brothers, Richard (Penny) Earnest, Leroy (Annie) Earnest, and Paul (Tina) Earnest; two living Aunts, Sandra (Bobby) Jenkins and Kathryn (Buck) Miller; special friends, Sherri (Mike) Gallo of Reynoldsville; special neighbor, Betty Carpenter of Clarksburg; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Cain; one daughter, Sherena Millsap; grandson, DJ Siebert; one sister, Carla Denise Earnest.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 3:00-7:00PM. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11AM with Pastor Tim Sandy officiating. Interment will follow at Little Rock Camp Cemetery.
